After playing Varsity basketball at Westmoor High School and winning multiple academic, sports, and service awards in High School in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dinesh graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from U. C. Berkeley, the number one ranked EECS program in the USA.
Dinesh worked in a few Silicon Valley Tech firms before pivoting to India where liberalized economic reforms created new opportunities in business. Dinesh was Introduced to both political leaders and elite business leaders in India as he helped the US administration forge ties with India.
Dinesh graduated from Georgetown University Law Center with a Doctor in Juris Prudence, after his stint in India.
Dinesh has raised the initial private equity capital for LBO fund, Blackstreet Capital (formerly Milestone Merchant Capital Partners) in Washington, DC. Dinesh has been involved with startup and mature ventures in Silicon Valley, CA, India, and Virginia. This includes semiconductors, solar, green tech, CRM, and Data analytics. Dinesh has also brought ethnic TV channels to the Dish Network Satellite platform.
Dinesh raised capital for and is on the advisory board of VC and PE funds in East Asia and India.
Dinesh has recently been involved with cutting edge Blockchain and crypto-currency technologies and companies.
Dinesh has allies in India, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Pacific Rim that work with international trading of commodities, metals, and other valuable goods. They also work on cross border transactions, entry into Asia, and M&A and capital raising. Dinesh also works with Family offices & PE firms to form investment syndicates.
Dinesh strategized and completed the first Defense technology sale from the USA to India, a fire-finder technology on the Kashmir border with Pakistan.
Dinesh was a Trustee of the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and a Chair of the DSCC High Tech Council.
Dinesh has raised millions of dollars for Democratic Party causes and advised key American politicians. Dinesh has also advised key Indian politicians including Prime Ministers and Chief Ministers.
